A higher fee would mean that only people who played were the people who were actually serious about the game. I’m not saying that there won’t be plenty of cheap tournaments around for the casual player to indulge in when they need a fix. I’m just saying that the good tournaments will need to up their fees to fix the caliber of their poker. So, start saving now for the big tournaments if you are thinking that it would e a good idea to enroll in a high stakes, high profile tournament.
