Blown-away with Verizon HDTV
I don’t know how to begin to tell you how delighted our family after just 5 days of viewing FIOS HDTV from the time of the activation. We we’re actually blown away by their HDTV. Let me start with the beginning – the installation
I wasn’t in the house during the installation – I had to meet a friend of mine , but my wife who was there informed me that the person who made the installation was polite and professional and looks very good at work. I did converse with the guy on the phone when he needed to know my password to set-up the internet. When I arrived home, the person had completed the installation and left right away but given wife enough information that I found it uncomplicated to go around the TV channels and navigate the remote.
Let’s just summarize the benefits I like the most .
1. Navigation – very straightforward and I expect in the next few days to set up a “favorites” line up which I haven’t tried yet.
2. Picture quality – I had Time Warner’s Road Runner prior to this…and Time Warner’s Road Runner ignored me when I told them that the reception coming in to my house wasn’t good enough, even after I put in an attenuator! When FiOS was installed, the picture on every TV in my house …old and new…standard and HD…is better to the picture I had using Time Warner’s Road Runner. In reality now the digital stations looks the same as that of high definition compared to my previous provider.
3. Channel Line up-it was amazing, every single day our family find something out of the ordinary. Just yesterday, I watched F18 Operations aboard Navy Carriers! I watched Military news and caught the Military History Channel and the Pentagon Channel! I was surprised that these channels were in the line up and guess what I’ve informed all my retired Navy colleagues since I am also a retired Navy.
FiOS TV was perfectly okay but you also have to know also that my Verizon FiOS internet is faster than ever and my phone reception is amazing! my telephone finally functions like it was designed to work .
Rest is history, one will reveal most about the company they are dealing with when there are problems. When all is well …. all can be good ….In the weeks and months to come, we’ll find out what type of Customer Service FiOS have. From what I’ve seen so far, I have nothing to whine about.
