Over Baby Proofing

You might not think that there is such a thing as over doing it, when it comes to protecting your little one. You might think that anything that you can to keep the little monster form getting hurt, us well worth the effort. Wrong. Overdoing it will not help the little one learn self-control, or the law of cause and effect. Like when you fall down, it hurts. Or when you pull on the bathroom shower curtain, it will fall. You just need to take care of all the really bad things. The things that will really hurt them are what you need to worry about. Here is a list of the main things that you should worry about.

1. Things that are heavy, that the kid can grab or pull over, like speakers, book cases, vases, table cloths, things like that should be removed, or bolted down.

2. Curtain and blind cords, need to be tied up and put out of reach for the baby. She could get all twisted up and strangle herself.

3. Eclectic covers, where there is a hole, the baby will try to stick things in it.

4. Sharp corners, will be one of the things that baby will hit most, get covers for them, or make some out of socks and tape.

5. Poison, get locks and things for any of the cabinets that have stuff that the baby should not be getting into.

6. Child Safety Gates, more kids are killed every year by falling down the stairs… do not let this happen, if you take the stairs away, there is no chance.
